What the exchange total represents
The figure is a lower bound for known, tagged addresses. It can omit unlabelled deposit wallets, newly rotated addresses and exchange accounts below the source snapshot threshold.
Does exchange-held XRP mean XRP for sale?
No. An exchange wallet can include customer custody, cold storage and operational balances. The total measures an attributed ledger location, not immediate sell-side liquidity.
Why balances change
Deposits, withdrawals, internal wallet movements and address rotation can change attributed totals. Attribution itself can also lag operational changes.
Common questions
Does the tracker include every exchange wallet?
No. It includes only addresses present in the connected attribution dataset, so the total should be treated as a lower bound.
How often are balances updated?
Tracked balances refresh against a validated XRPL ledger on page load, on manual refresh and at regular intervals.
